Often a scammer will lure you into websites that look legit either via emails or links from another website while you are shopping online.

 

These scam websites often presentation, offering cheap pricing and good reviews, but these can be fake. If you are unsure, here are some tips can help you quickly identify.

 

  1. Cheap price – Yep we’re suck at this. Buying on impose often let us down to the rabbit hole. Cheap and cheerful, buyers beware!
  2. If you are unsure about the website, copy the URL link and go to https://www.scamdoc.com/
  3. Paste in the URL and click analysis, they will give you the website score rating.
  4. If you received an email from a known source contain shorten URL e.g. https://bit.ly/clickhere; go to this site to expand the short URL CheckShortURL - Your shortened URL expander 
  5. Paste in the short URL
  6. Copy the expanded/long URL and go to ScamDoc link above.
